Krikragaa pottery workshop leader
Ilona has been working with ceramics since mid-1980s.
In 1991, she became a member of Klaipėda branch of the Lithuanian Folk Art Union, Kurėnas.
In 1994, she was granted the category of folk artist.
Since 1990s, Ilona participated in exhibitions of ceramics throughout Lithuania. She has also participated in exhibitions in other countries: France, Germany, Croatia, Japan, etc.
Besides, she is involved in various interdisciplinary art camps, ethno projects, events and festivals.
Ilona has great experience in organising art and creative workshops.
In 2012, she began collaboration in projects of Krikragaa and is now an active member of the community.
