Head of Krikragaa

Mantvydas was born in Vilnius in 1988.

In 1995–2007, he studied traditional Lithuanian blockflute (lumzdelis speciality) at Juozas Karosas Music School and Stasys Šimkus Conservatoire.

In 2010–2012, he studied tailoring at Klaipėda Sewing and Service Business School.

In 2010, Mantvydas opened his first creative workshop in Klaipėda.

In 2011–2014, he worked as the leader of ethnic youth ensemble Avilys at Priekulė Cultural Centre, where he implemented a number of various ethnocultural projects.

Mantvydas also has professional experience in different areas of folk arts and crafts: music (plays traditional dance music), woodcrafts (makes wooden furniture, objects, theatre scenography, fire sculptures, traditional musical instruments, etc.). He has organised international events, cultural projects, festivals and craft workshops.

Mantvydas is one of the co-founders of Craftsmen‘s Guild Krikragaa (NGO).

Jordi NN

Krikragaa interdisciplinary artist

Jordi NN was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1985.

This interdisciplinary artist and creative mind began producing his first art projects in his teens. During his career he studied different fields of multimedia arts (design, photography, video, conceptual art) and classic arts (sculpture, drawing, painting).

In 2010, Jordi NN became an internationally-known artist with his first exhibitions outside Spain. Since then, he has participated, developed and created projects in different countries such as Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, the U.S., etc.

In 2014, he began his collaborations with Craftsmen’s Guild Krikragaa and is now an active member of the community.

In 2016, he became an active member of Culture Management Centre Lauska as an ethno-photographer and a web developer.

Virgina Asnauskienė

Event organiser at Dreverna branch of Priekulė Cultural Centre.

Born in 1956, she raised three children.

In 1980, Virginija graduated from Stasys Šimkus Higher School of Music, and in 1999, she graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy of Klaipėda University.

Since autumn 1986, she works at Dreverna House of Culture and at Dreverna Primary School.

Virginija leads folklore, vocal and drama groups, organises cultural life in Dreverna, holds village and school traditional and calendar folk festivals, exhibitions, participates in creative projects.

She is interested in singing, local history, old local dialect (Prussian Lithuanian), handicrafts, and books.
